We celebrated our very first wedding anniversary in very simple ways. We have to save for our future expenses.

Attended the 5 o'clock mass of Redemptorist Church. Luckily, we met Father Martin, the wedding celebrant and bid him farewell on his vacation back to his homeland in Ireland.
Ordered a couple of breaded porkchop meal at Sugbahan in Ayala Center. It's just a little more than our usual order of lumpia meal after the Sunday mass.
Lighted the wedding candles before going to sleep. We let it burn for about twenty minutes. Then put it out with the Silka deodorant cap instead of blowing it. They say that blowing to put out a candle blows away the holy spirit.
